ASSOCIATION FORUM: ADVANCING ASSOCIATIONS SINCE 1916

Association Forum is the “association of associations” in Chicago.
Founded in 1916, Association Forum has nearly 4,000 members representing
approximately 1,600 Chicagoland associations. In turn, these
organizations serve 27 million individual members, have a $10.3 billion
annual impact on the local economy and spend more than $2.6 billion
each year on conferences, conventions and meetings.

For 100 years, Association Forum has been a CONNECTED COMMUNITY
that develops and delivers POWERFUL EXPERIENCES in a fun,
welcoming environment.

Our resources are designed with our members input, aimed at achieving
SUCCESS. Through making connections and opportunities for collaboration,
our goal is to enhance the practice of association management
and elevate individual and organizational EXPERTISE.

Next to Washington, D.C., Chicago is the nation’s largest association
headquarters city. More health care and medical associations are headquartered
in Chicagoland than anywhere else. Association Forum is an
independent organization incorporated under the Illinois Not-For-Profit
Corporation Act and tax-exempt under Section 501(c) 6 of the Internal
Revenue Code.
